Today, the Ten of Pentacles has appeared in response to the question "what is?"
Traditionally, this card symbolises themes of wealth, success and legacy. It shows an elder, seated in his grand estate, surrounded family and pets. He is nearing the end of his life, and is sustained by his accomplishments and the material wealth that he has built for himself and his family.
However, this week, this card wants to be seen on a deeper level. It jumped out of the deck at the precise moment I asked "what is- ", ignoring the rest of my question.
Over this man's lifetime he's accrued many coins. But look closely - they are laid out to reveal the tree of life. The coins are not the meaning. This card speaks to true wealth - the attainment of wisdom over the course of a physical lifetime.
It asks, what is it to be a soul in a human body living a physical experience? It speaks to the mastery of manifestation, of being a force of creation. It speaks to the legacy that we will leave behind on this planet once we're gone.
